Club Venues
Welcome to Philadelphia Country Club. The 100,000-foot Clubhouse is the heart of PCC and sits at the center of over 300 acres of property in Gladwyne, PA.
The Clubhouse boasts multiple dining areas, each with its own unique ambiance for a different dining experience depending on the Member's Mood.
The popular Grille Room is used for casual dining and is frequented by families, especially those with children and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Bullitt Bistro has a sports bar atmosphere with mirror-finished television sets. The area boasts a full bar and is often used during a big game or just a casual meal. Large floor to ceiling windows also provide an aesthetically pleasing view of the Terrace and Golf courses.
The 1890 Room is PCC's formal dining room. The room requires jackets for men and is equipped with a full bar and fireplace. The menu offers exclusive features that include signature favorites of the Chef and Members. The room also has large French doors that can be closed for private parties and can accommodate up to 35 people. Reservations for this room are strongly recommended.
The Byron Nelson
Room features a full bar and built-in buffet allowing Member athletes and Golfers a quick bite before their round, or a leisure place to watch the games and enjoy a beverage, snack or a meal.
The Terrace is the best outdoor dining area in the region with its scenic view of the Golf courses. This tranquil setting makes every experience unique and memorable. The Terrace features a unique menu that blends together the Grille Room and Bullitt Bistro menus.
PCC‘s Clubhouse is a smoke free environment so that our Members and their Guests may truly enjoy their dining experience.
The Clubhouse is also home to the state-of-the-art Fitness Center, offering cardio equipment, free weights, balance and stretching equipment as well as one-on-one personal training and a robust group exercise schedule.
The expansive Men's and Ladies' Locker Rooms are adjacent to the Fitness Center. Each offers a separate lounge with complimentary refreshments and full amenities. Each locker room is attended by a full time Staff Member.
The Golf Shop carries equipment from almost all industry leaders along with Men's and Ladies' clothing lines and gift ware. The main Ballroom, Polo Room, Polo Terrace, Gladwyne Room, and Founders' Room offer a variety of party and meeting space options for your gatherings, large or small. PCC offers special event or meeting space for up to 400 people.
The offices of the General Manager and the rest of the Administrative Staff are located on the second floor of the Clubhouse.
Clubhouse Hours: Open 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. The Dining Rooms and Golf Shop are closed on Mondays except when it is open during a Monday holiday, in that case it will be closed on the Tuesday of that week.
The William Flynn designed 18-hole Spring Mill championship course hosted the 1939 U.S. Open, the 2003 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, and co-hosted the 2005 U.S. Men's Amateur Championship. The 9-hole Centennial Course, designed by multiple award winning course architect Thomas Fazio, was completed in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Philadelphia Country Club.
Philadelphia Country Club's Squash Building is considered one of the best in the region. Home to a Pro Shop, three International Singles, two North American Doubles courts, a prime viewing area and party space, PCC is in the regular host rotation of the U.S. Open of Squash. This building is also home to PCC's four Bowling Lanes featuring electronic scoring with video display and a private party space.
The Summer House includes the Citrus Tree restaurant along with the Paddle and Tennis Hut. The Citrus Tree is meant for casual dining for visitors to the Olympic-size Pool and Baby Pool. The Paddle and Tennis Hut include a lounge, pro shop and locker rooms that are shared with the swimmers. Racquet sports at PCC include nine Har-Tru Tennis Courts and four Paddle Courts.
The Shooting Lodge is a beautiful and unique building with perfect ambiance for Trap or Skeet shooting, or even just hosting a party. Together, these round out the sporting facilities on the immediate campus.
The Grounds Maintenance Facility was renovated from the old Clubhouse and rivals the best in the business.
While the buildings at Philadelphia Country Club are each spectacular and impressive in their own right, it is the Members and their Guests who truly make the Club. Founded in tradition, built by history and maintained by the camaraderie of family and friends, PCC is a full service Club that is proud of where it came from and excited about where it is headed.
