Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Classes take place in the Spring Mill Room located on the second floor of the Squash Building and are filled on a first-come basis. Please sign in upon arrival, and let the instructor know before class begins if you are trying it for the first time in order to get the best results from your workout.

Body Blast – Up to 12 participants per class.

Body Blast dedicated to total body muscular and strength training. In this class, we apply a variety of modalities that may also include a combination of hand weights, tubing and body weight resistance.

Weekend Warriors - Up to 12 participants per class

Weekend Warriors is for those who cannot get enough Body Blast during the week, or those who cannot make weekday sessions. Weekend Warriors offers a similar training regime. The class includes circuit training and a combination of hand weights, tubing and body weight resistance.

Mat Pilates – Up to 20 participants per class.

Mat Pilates focuses on core muscle strength along with coor­dination. The class implements a variety of equipment options for additional challenges.

Yoga – Up to 20 participants per class.

Yoga is a relaxing but challenging class. It is designed to improve flexibility, core strength and overall quality of life. 

Power Lunch - Up to 8 participants per class

Power Lunch is for men only and is a 45-minute intense workout offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Power lunch is a mixture of cardio, core and strength training. Members use Power Lunch when they are limited on time and looking to get the most of their workouts. There is no commitment required, just show up and work out!

Women on Weights - Up to 6 participants per class

W.o.W is a women only form of circuit training that uses machines, lightweight dumbbells and resistance bands in a quick and effective 30 minute group training session. Training sessions are constantly changing to keep the body from adapting to a single exercise. W.o.W is fitting for women of all ages.

Squads - Up to 6 participants per class

Squads are enhanced group training sessions designed for junior athletes committed to improve their level of play through regular weekly training sessions for a set length of time. The benefits of Squad training are being able to train with other athletes who have similar goals in order to improve along with consistent training and advancement through committed weekly sessions. Squads are held on a day and time of participants choice but are limited on a first come, first serve basis.
