Hole #15
Hole #15 is a long, uphill 225-yard par 3. The longest par 3 on the course, the hole requires a driver or fairway wood from the tee. Players will favor a tee shot up the left side and let the ball roll onto the green. All shots will feed to the right. The green slopes from left to right and is guarded by two deep bunkers short and right of the green.
Hole #2 – 1939 U.S. Open
A fine one-shot hole. This hole varies as to the clubs used. Some use brassies and spoons. The very long player will use a long iron. The green is planned so that a straight or hooked tee shot may find a lot of trouble. The shot to play here is a slight fade which will find the championship cup location.
