Spring Mill Hole #8
Hole #8
Hole #8 is a slightly uphill, straight 391-yard par 4. A demanding tee shot hit just right of the first fairway bunker to a blind landing area will leave a good line on this hole. The player will be left with a mid to short-iron shot. The green is two tiered and has bunkers on the left and right front.
Hole #14 – 1939 U.S. Open
Here the tee shot is blind and uphill. The best line for position is over the high crown in the fairway trap some 200 yards from the tee. After playing this line, a player can use a #5, #6, or #7, all depending on the wind. A hook or a pull will put you out of bounds as this is the third boundary hole.
